Choco's Story...
Choco is a 17 month old male Chocolate Lab/Chessie Retriever mix. He is about 60 lbs. Choco is great with other dogs, and loves people. He is partially housetrained, and does great while being supervised in the house. Choco has been and inside/outside dog, but would adapt very fast to an indoor lifestyle. Choco is a very active boy, he loves to go for runs, play fetch or tug-of-war. He is also a very social dog, and loves to be anywhere you are. He will just sit by you and watch what you're doing. Choco is a very fun loving guy who needs an active home to give him the attention he deserves. If you're interested in meeting/adopting Choco, please fill out our online application at www.utahlabrescue.com. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Choco, a Provo Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Provo, or seeking a Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Provo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Provo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Provo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chesapeake Bay Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Provo paves the way for another one to be saved.
