Ryder's Story...
Hello new friends!

My name is Ryder and I’m a super friendly little fluff of only a year and a half, weighing about 15 pounds. When I’m happy (which is most of the time!), I roll over on my back with my feet in the air, waving them in delight. My foster Mom thinks I’m pretty funny!

Like any young guy, I love to play and have fun. In fact my foster Dad says that I “bounce” when I run over to play with my doggy foster brothers and sisters. One of my favorite games is get a toy and throw it waaaaaaaaaaay up in the air and then catch it all by myself. I get along great with other dogs and just about everybody who wants to play.

Mom says to tell you that I’m “a great little dog” who would be good for a family, because I’m so friendly and smart. I learned how to follow my doggy brothers out the doggy door right away. And I know lots of other useful things like sleeping quietly in the crate all night, and even not jumping on furniture! How’s that for smart? And you can teach me anything. Just tell me what you want me to do, and I’ll do it right away, because that’s the best way to get lots of love and attention from my people!

So if you and your family have been looking for an affectionate, curious, smart little boy who will bounce right into your lives and into your hearts, well…. here I am!! Just fill out an application and ask for Ryder.

Lots of smiles and hugs,
Reliable and Rugged Ryder

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryder, a La Costa Bichon Frise puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise puppy from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
