My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10/11/10: Handsome Banjo has arrived in the northeast and he is a good-sized energetic boy. He is a sweet dog and picks up on his human's cues. He is peacefully living with cats. He loves to be with his foster mom. He recently went with his foster mom to visit at someone's house and did very well there. He plays well with other dogs, too!

9/16/2010: Banjo is a handsome Plott Hound/Boxer mix who was found stray and never claimed. He is two years old and has a beautiful brindle coat with white markings. Banjo is a friendly dog with such a gentle, sweet-natured personality. Whenever anyone would walk by his kennel, he would jump so high to get attention - his agile moves rival those of an NBA superstar! Once he is leashed and outside, Banjo is a great walking companion. He loves to run and play in the shelter yard. Most of all, Banjo wants to be petted and is such a loving dog - the best cuddle buddy! He is fine with people of all ages, gets along well with other dogs and was polite to the cats we introduced him to.

Like many of our dogs, Banjo is located in the south with a partner shelter, but we would love to bring him north to find him his forever home.
