peg's Story...
This girl is one awsome dog! She is spayed and UTD on shots. Peg is housebroken and she does not chew. She doesn't even get on the furniture. She is quiet in the house and doesn't bark unless there is a reason to. She walks easily on a leash but is controllable off leash as well. She knows her name and comes when called. She loves people and craves attention but is not pushy. She likes other dogs and kids. Peg is one of a kind. The family that adopts her is getting a "grand ole girl"!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

peg, a Gloucester Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Gloucester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Gloucester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gloucester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gloucester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gloucester paves the way for another one to be saved.
