Anne's Story...
Hi. My name is Anne. I am a bobtail mix, with gray tiger markings, born approximately June 10, 2010. I was found in a box with my badly injured brother, who had been hit by a car. I sure am sorry he lost his leg, but it's OK, he recovered and is doing well. We are each awaiting our forever homes.

In my foster home, I have gotten used to many cats surrounding me and I am particularly fond of the oldest cat who grooms me. I am good with the other cats but my foster mommy says I can play a little rough sometimes. I guess I still need to learn to be gentle. While I don't jump up for attention, if you pick me up, I sure do like being cuddled. There's a very loving side of me just waiting to be shared with someone. And they tell me that my tiger markings are very distinctive and beautiful.

I had a rough start in life and would really like to spend the rest of my life just being loved. Can you give me a forever home where I am never in danger of being abandoned again? If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at Our adoption fee includes being fixed, microchipped, combo tested, and up to date on vaccines. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anne, a Cincinnati Japanese Bobtail kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Bobtail for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Japanese Bobtail kitten from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Bobtail breeders who help with Japanese Bobtail rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
