Although this beautiful gal was only born in August of 2008, she is wise beyond her years. Eva was rescued from an alley with three kittens in tow–already her third litter. She was an incredibly loving and attentive mother, but now the kids are all grown up and it’s time for Eva to find her own perfect forever home. She is the perfect mix of playfulness, intelligence, and grace. Eva is a sweet sensitive soul who will be an incredible addition to any home lucky enough to adopt her.
For all she has been through, Eva is a shining example of forgiveness and resiliency. She is a mature adult, but isn’t above letting her hair down and playing like a kitten without a care in the world! Eva loves people and is very affectionate; she loves to be held and is happy to receive plenty of attention and love. She is also calm and intelligent, but still very playful when the mood strikes. She particularly likes to stalk catnip mice and pounce on toy birds. Her lush coat and generous plume of a tail make her quite striking to the eye.
Eva currently lives with other cats in her foster home and does fine, but her heart’s desire is to be an only cat or a pal for a laidback cat. She is not pushy, and will often sit quietly waiting for the other cats to clear out of the way before she comes forward for her spot on a lap. When she first arrived, Eva preferred to sit back and observe her foster home’s busy activities. Once she felt confident, she quietly introduced herself into the mix and joined her foster pack. Eva has met and does not like dogs, so needs to go to a cat-only household.
Eva is extremely affectionate but in a non-pushy manner. She loves to be held and petted, and just wants to love and be loved by her people.
Eva, like all ARCF cats for adoption, has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
