Lady's Story...
Lady was found as a stray. She had a litter of pups and all were adopted but Ringo. We recently adopted out Rocket and Red. Ringo remains. She is very affectionate and loving and a great size. She loves to ride and f ollow you around. She was housebroken as she is very smart. She was just in a foster home but their cat did not like her so she had to come back. she is crate trained and goes in willingly. NOw she is going back to a home where she has to stay outside .in.
If you would like to meet Lady to either foster or adopt her, please email "tritobin@charter.net" for a same day response. We would love to get her back inside and into a warm environment so she is ready for her permanent home or a home where she will be a permanent home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Lincolnton Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
