Chrissy's Story...
This is Chrissy. She was born on approx 8-15-10. As you can see she is a very sweet and pretty gal. She has tested negative for feline leukemia and aids, has been wormed and is in excellent health. She is being fostered in a home with children and family pets and gets along very well with other kitties and dogs. She is definitely a lap kitty and would make a wonderful companion. Chrissy will be ready to be adopted into her furever home shortly; approximately October 15, 2010. If you would like to meet her or other kittens available, please call Jody at 908 996 3238 or email jodyleffler@yahoo.com. 9/20/10

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chrissy, a Frenchtown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Frenchtown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Frenchtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frenchtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frenchtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frenchtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
