Tyrone's Story...
Watch out for this boy, he is a smooth talker! Tyrone is one of those boys that all you have to do is look into his eyes and he has you as putty in his paws. He is gorgeous! Tyrone is about 2 years old and a nice beefy boy weighing about 70lbs. He loves being with his humans and will show you affection like you are the only person in the world. When his foster mom enters the room, his face brightens up and looks at her with those big brown eyes and well, she is done and he gets all the good boy pats and treats he can handle. Tyrone is good with the cats, but is bossy with other dogs, he will do best as the only dog. He is good with the humans and has been socialized with men, women and older children. He loves to play ball, but only to show off his talents and skills as part retriever We believe Tyrone is part lab and mastiff which is only suiting for a boy who is smart and blessed with the good looks and braun. He is crated trained and seemingly house trained. Tyrone knows how to sit and he is very smart and will do well with additional obedience training. Tyrone is neutered, up to date on all vaccintions and is heartworm negative. He is micro chipped and kept on prevention for heartworm, fleas and ticks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyrone, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
