Malone's Story...
Malone is the most beautiful baby boy. He is about 10 weeks old now and his mom was a purebred chocolate lab. One day a very kind man overhead conversation about disposing of these unwanted puppies. He was appalled and stepped in and took the puppies, not knowing himself what he was going to do with them. While he was deciding, he stopped by the local vet's office where he got a telephone number of a lady who might be able to help. Fortunately it was a good friend of Lucky Lab Rescue and she called us immediately. If it was not for this wonderful man, who knows what would have happened to these beautiful puppies. Thank goodness for good people in this world.

Malone and his 2 siblings are typical happy little puppies and have lots of love to give. For puppies of this age, they are very laid back and sweet. They are up to date on vaccination for their age and have been micro-chipped. If interested in any of these awesome puppies, please indicate so in the notes section of the online application. Lots of puppy kisses coming your way.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malone, a Salem Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
