My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 10/11/2010: Major is a sweet 8 year old boy who is 14.6 lbs and is being fostered in New Port Richey, FL.

Major says....."I am getting used to my foster home. I especially love to run and play fetch with my toys! (See attached picture #2) When my foster mommy comes home I run and jump up into her arms. I also like to sleep in bed with her. Like my foster mommy I am not a morning doggie! My foster mommy says I am the sweetest little boy she has ever seen! I follow her around the house wherever she goes. Since I am a yorkie/silky mix I am larger than a regular yorkie – but I AM NOT FAT. The vet says I am just big boned! The vet also told my foster mommy that I am in perfect health! I can’t wait to meet my permanent family!"

INITIAL BIO 09-19-2010 MEET MAJOR~! Major is 8 years old (edited weight - Foster Mom found my birthdate!) and weighs 12#; he is being fostered in New Port Richey, FL. Major was surrendered by his owners because they could no longer care for him; he is a very sweet and active 10 y/o yorkie boy. Major loves to carry his stuffed animals around the house and especially loves being with his owner. He gets along with other dogs and would like to be placed in a home with another dog close to his age and size; but no cats, please! Don't let his age turn you away from adopting him - he is very active and playful and has a lot of love and playfulness to share with his new family. Please watch for updates on Major as his Foster Mom gets to know him better.
