Meet Bentley! He was saved off of The Green Mile in Broward,Fl.He was on his last day and there were no holds on him,so we decided to take him.He is a purebred Mini Bull Terrier, approx 3 yrs and weighs 45 pounds. He needs a home with no small children or small animals.Another medium to large female would be fine.Would prefer someone who has owned this breed before and understands their behaviors and energy level. He is completely crate trained and is such a sweet boy!
Rescue Group Info...
We are a non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of large breed dogs on Florida's Green Mile(Death Row)We do not have a facility and rely solely on fosters. Although we will help any breed, our main focus is large breed dogs including rare Mastiffs-Neapolitan,Fila Brasileiro,Dogo Argentino,Cane Corso's,etc. We also take in Bully Breeds(English Bulldog,English Bull Terriers, etc.) We visit shelters and seek out these breeds that are hours sometimes minutes from being euthanized. We will also accept owner surrenders when we have sufficient fosters.
I do this because they have no voice,no choice for the circumstance that they are in and many times no hope left when i find them.To see their faces when they hit the front door of that shelter and know that they have been spared is an unexplainable feeling.I have shed many tears for the one's i've had to leave behind, but move on knowing more will need me in days, weeks and months to come.I have dedicated my life to the welfare of animals.I have worked in rescue for 20+ years and have pulled and helped to place thousands of dogs over that time.My hope is that one day my services will not be needed.
You will have to fill out an Adoption Application and sign our Adoption Contract. You will also be interviewed on the phone to insure that the animal you are inquiring about will be suited to your family and lifestyle. We will then schedule a meeting for you to meet your potential doggie.A home check will then be done to see where the pet you are adopting will reside.
The adoption fee is $250.-$300. This includes sterilization, all vaccines needed prior to adoption, fecal check for worms and heartworm test to insure the dog you are interested in is negative.
