Diamond Rio is one of the sweetest cats! Diamond is a doll faced, all black persian. Diamond still will occasionally bite at your hand, but it is only when he is playing, and he does not use his teeth. When not chasing after toys, the other cats, and the dog (Shih Tzu) he will curl up and nap (he loves the dog's crate). He has excellent litter habits and loves his food. He will need continued training to not claw at the furniture. However, he has not climbed any drapes nor gotten up on the table or any of the counters.

We require an adoption application and approval before we set an appointment to meet the cats as they are in private homes for foster care. This is policy and no exception will be made.
As a policy for our rescue we do NOT adopt cats/kittens for gifts. We have to screen the adopter how will be owning the cat. Not a person who is thinking to give as a gift. So if you are looking to adopt for a family member LIVING IN THE SAME HOME AS YOU, then you can apply but if not living in your home we do not adopt. We make no exception to this policy for those wanting to adopt a cat/kitten to give as a gift. If you are interested and want to pay for the adoption fee for the person adopting that is a good way to help them adopt a cat/kitten and we then screen them to adopt and you pay for the adoption fee. This is a good option and has been done before.
We have all our policies to protect our cats and appreciate you thinking of a rescue kitty to adopt but not as a gift.
We Never ship cats and declawing is not an option. WE are a volunteer organization so please keep in mind when you contact us emails are much quicker, phone calls we so our best to get back to you but it will take a bit longer.
