Misty's Story...
Hello... They call me Misty. I came into the pound with my three babies (Wilbur, Charlotte, and Buster). I was full of fleas and dirty. The nice Paws people gave me a bath and made me all pretty again. I'm a little scared when I get on a leash and around new people. If you take it slow and let me come to you we will be friends in no time. I love my babies and wish they all find great forever homes just like me. If you offer me a treat I will very carefully take it from your fingers. If you could give a little momma like me a forever home that I deserve please contact Ashley at ace_04@live.com or Linda at s.hoefing@mchsi.com. You can also call and leave a message on Linda's phone 712-246-3236 and she will return your call after work. We are willing to travel to find me the best home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Shenandoah Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Shenandoah, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Shenandoah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shenandoah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shenandoah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shenandoah paves the way for another one to be saved.
