The adoption fee for all cats ages two and older (any color) and cats that are primarily black (any age) is currently only $17! Black, adult, and senior cats are traditionally the least likely cats to be adopted. Many of them experience lengthy stays in foster care before finding their forever home. Adult cats are often overlooked in favor of kittens. However, they have just as much love to give. We’d love to CHANGE THEIR LUCK this March!
This promotion applies to all primarily black (any age) and adult or senior cats (any color) adopted in March 2017 and to any adoption applications received for these fosters through March 31, 2017. Not only can you change their luck – you can change their life!
Approx DOB: June 2010
Makani is a sweet, lovable boy who has been through a lot in his young life already. He was rescued from extremely poor outdoor living conditions, and had to be treated for an infected eye and respiratory infection. Later, it was discovered that he was even healing from a broken leg that he had sustained while living outdoors at approximately three or four weeks of age. Despite these incredible obstacles for such a young kitten, Makani is now a healthy and happy boy, who loves playing with his brother Hoku and all the other little kitties in his foster family. Makani can be a little shy at times, but for the most part has become more and more social as he has gotten older. In fact, he loves hopping up in bed with you at night, and will purr and insist on lots of love and nighttime pets before falling asleep! Makani is also a very handsome little boy, who has a lovely dark chocolate tint to his black coat. Makani would do best in a quieter household without children, and would do well with other kitties. This sweet, lovable little boy has gone through so much in his life, and is just looking for a loving, forever home to call his own.
This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and been micro-chipped and altered (or will be micro-chipped and altered prior to adoption).
Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).
If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact email@example.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
