Mouf's Story...
Mouf came to us all the way from Connecticut. Her previous owner suddenly passed away and the family was not able to care for Mouf and her half-sister Phantom (also available for adoption). Because of their age and the time constraints of these special circumstances, euthanasia was heavily considered. SO...Mouf and Phanny came to Op Felix. They're great ol' gals. Mouf is a quiet, shy, petite little lady who just wants a little spot of sunshine to lay in and nice warm lap to call home. She gets along with other dogs and cats, though it takes her a while to warm up to newcomers. She is not aggressive and will just find a hiding spot until she's comfortable. She has a GLORIOUS coat, that is like spun silk to touch and adores being brushed and groomed! She is approximately 10-11 years old, EXTREMELY healthy and has a good 10-15 years left. Won't you consider giving this lovely, sweet lady a forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mouf, a Lincoln Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
