SID's Story...
Sid is a 2 year old black and tan male miniature pinscher. Sid we rescued from the shelter and is currently in foster care and is doing great. Sid currently lives with 4 other dogs (big and small), and is good with older children. He is a lot of fun to be around, when we first rescued Sid, he was very shy and wouldn't let to many people love on him, and now he is definitely opening up to where he is still a little shy but as long as someone is patient with him he will open right up. Sid can go on walks, or will just cuddle up on the couch. Sid gets very attached to the person taking care of him and is definitely a loyal dog. Sid comes up to date on shots, microchipped, neutered, and current on heartworm preventative. He also comes crate trained, and house trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SID, a Lawton Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Lawton, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Lawton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawton paves the way for another one to be saved.
