Flossie's Info...

I am purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Flossie's Story...
Flossie is one of those dogs that is good for the ego. She gazes lovingly into your eyes as if you are the most fascinating and beautiful human she's ever seen. Although gentle by nature she doesn't care for other dogs or cats near her food. Speaking of cats - Flossie adores cats almost as much as humans. More than once I've walked in on her napping with several cats nestled up to her soft, warm fluffy body. We guess Flossie's age to be about one year.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flossie, a Pisgah Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Pisgah, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Pisgah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pisgah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pisgah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pisgah paves the way for another one to be saved.
