Bear's Story...
Poor sweet Bear is confused........her family surrendered her to the animal shelter because they felt they didn't have enough time for her any longer. She was so depressed at the shelter that she was deemed unadoptable and was to be euthanized. We just rescued her and would love to find her a loving permanent (or even foster) home that can take her in and show her that she can still have a happy life :o)

She is reportedly good with children and a very calm and sweet girl. Even though she is rescued from the shelter, she is still depressed and needs a patient loving home where she can learn to trust again. She is about 6 yrs old and weighs 50lbs. She is great in the car and on leash - we can't wait to find her a loving home! Please let us know if you have room for this sweetheart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Sacramento Chow Chow/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chow Chow/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Chow Chow/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
