Margie's Story...
Greetings and salutations folks. My name is Margie and I'm a precious 8 year-old Beagle. I am such a good little girl, how ever did I end up here? I'm oh so friendly and gentle. I'd make a great addition to any family with kids at least 5 years of age. I'd also make a lovely companion for a senior since I'm a calm lass and can even walk well on lead. I can even sit for you whenever you'd like, I promise! If you could only see what a good girl I've been you'd be so amazed. I sat still and didn't even make a peep when my volunteer friends cleaned out my ears, as they were infected and very sore. That hurt so much! Now I'm on medication so I'm hoping to get better real soon. Won't you open up your heart and home to me? I would just love to finally have a cozy carpet or bed to lay on.

Act quickly to adopt Margie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Margie, a Huntington Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
