Friskie's Story...
A woman passed away suddenly two weeks ago and was found in her home three days later with her beloved dogs by her side. A family friend came and took the dogs to the woman’s vet, in hopes to find a family member or “next of kin” who would care for these sweet rescues. Unfortunatley, no one came forward-no family or friend offered to care for loyal Pallie and Friskie. Just before she was scheduled Just before they were scheduled to be put to sleep, we were contacted. After hearing the story, and witnessing the determination to find Pallie and Friskie hope, we said yes. We went to meet them at the animal hospital and learned that they were as wonderful as described! Our entire staff has fallen in love with them! They have very individual personalities and would enjoy being adopted seperately or as a pair.

Please contact us if you'd like to meet Friskie and Pal or Fill out an application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Friskie, a Boca Raton Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Boca Raton, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Boca Raton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boca Raton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boca Raton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boca Raton paves the way for another one to be saved.
