Hi, my name is Fuego and I am 8 years old. I was a much loved companion up til now but my human was moving out of the country and could not take me along. I know that older dogs like me are not an easy “sell” but let me tell you I will definitely grow on you. I’ve had to have all my teeth removed and that’s why my tongue hangs out. But that only adds to my special brand of good looks. No more kibbles for me, I get to eat the wet stuff…. mmmmm!!! I am an easy dog and I have been trained to go on pee pads. I know lots of commands and I can show you how smart I am when you come to meet me. Although I like the view from my human’s arms, I do need exercise and I enjoy going for walks. I did have surgery on both my knees – something called luxating patella. I am now fit as a fiddle and will gladly accompany my human on little jaunts. I can be a little nervous and unsure at first; wouldn’t you be if you weighed less than 5 lbs.? No young children please; I have never lived with them. I do get along with other dogs but I am a little intimidated by them. All I need is someone to love and care for me for the rest of my days. I promise that if you pick me up and take me home, I’ll put a smile on your face. So, all I need is a buddy ... would it be you?
