found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
It turned out that the shelter needed a greeter, and I jumped at the opportunity to fill that position. I happily greeted all the visitors--children and adults, dogs and cats, and even a family of ferrets! I loved everyone and everything, and instead of staying in a kennel, I happily patrolled the whole shelter, nuzzling all my new friends!
After two months, however, the shelter was full, and ESRA was called to help me find a home. The day my foster mama got me, my shelter friends were very sad to see me go. They said they would miss me a lot, especially my lovable nature!
At my foster mama and daddy's home, I have a Springer sister, a kitty cat, and two kids that I hang out with. I'm happiest when I'm snuggling, getting belly rubs, eating treats, chewing bones, taking leisurely walks, sunbathing, and napping on big, soft pillows! Sometimes I get the house all to myself, and I listen to the radio or happily sleep. My family doesn’t even mind buying the inexpensive medicine for my achy joints. It’s much better walking and going up and down a couple of steps when I take my medicine! I should mention that I'm potty trained, I sleep through the night, I have good manners, I don't get on the furniture, and I don't bark but I do talk. I love other dogs, puppies, and cats, and I love making people smile! I'm also a very low-maintenance boy. As long as you're happy, I'm happy!
I promise my Forever Family that I will love you unconditionally and give you as much snuggling and cuteness as you could ever ask for!
Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.
Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Sherman.
