9/24/10 - Hi, my name is Lily and I have had a rough first 4 years of my life. I have been passed from home to home and am currently in my 5th home with my foster parents. I don't understand why since I am such a sweet and happy little girl. All I want is to be loved and petted and just hang out. I get very excited when you come home and would jump in your arms if I could. I also love to snuggle in next to you in bed at night. I went to the dogtor today and he said I am in excellent shape with no issues!! I am very ready and waiting for my FINAL furever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Charlotte Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
