Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTED April 25, 2007 from Dr. Roberts office!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TAZ - ID# A004027
Taz is currently waiting for that special person to adopt him at Dr. Gayle Roberts, DVM's office, NORTHWOOD ANIMAL HOSPITAL, located at 13925 Yale Avenue, Suite 115, Irvine (see map link below). Their phone is 949-559-1992.
Dr. Roberts was the vet that got him back to a healthy state for the San Clemente - Dana Point Animal Shelter and will be offering him for adoption through her office located at the corner of Yale and Trabuco in Irvine. He is in the lobby looking at each person that comes in, saying...will you be the one to take me home with you? And believe me, Taz does talk just as soon as you come up to him...he greets you by looking directly into your eyes and with different meow tones as he speaks! He is so very entertaining, playful, a lover and wants his beautiful fur stroked and his head rubbed.
Taz interacts well with other cats and loves to be near the staff by laying on their desk as they try to work or lounging on the top of the computer monitors just to have a fine view of the activity going on in the office! When he first arrived at the Northwood Animal Hospital, he didn't like dogs and would swat them, but now, he is very comfortable with them being around all the time because of the number of dogs coming and going for their vet visits. Taz was also overweight and exhibited diabetes, but he has since lost the weight, now only 13 lbs., and is not on any medication or displaying any signs of diabetes, he is just on a special formula cat food to keep his weigh down. Taz is in good health and a very content and happy cat looking for a permanent home!
Taz is "Mr. Personality" and will make a wonderful companion for you, so please stop by and see this beautiful and loving boy. You can talk with Dr. Roberts or her staff about Taz and the great progress he has made to become a loving and healthy cat. Knowing that Taz has been loved and taken care of by a vet for some time, you can be assured he is in the best of health when you adopt this beautiful boy.
Taz is a neutered male, BLACK Domestic LONG HAIR. The shelter thinks Taz was about 4 years old when he arrived on May 16, 2005. Taz came in after being hit by a car in May, 2005. After healing, he has become a beautiful boy. Taz is very affectionate with the staff and volunteers and will come to you!
Please call the Northwood Animal Hospital at 949-559-1992 to find out more information about Taz.
