Penny's Story...
Penny is a beautiful, vibrant, 10-month old dilute calico girl that is ready to bring some love and excitement to your home. Penny and her kittens were rescued from a high-kill shelter in the San Joaquin Valley and transported to an experienced foster home. Although young Penny and her newborn kittens became very ill, Penny pulled through. She is just a teenager, so has moved beyond her difficult past and has become an active, vocal, and shiny girl that is ready for the next stage of her life. Penny is looking for a home that will welcome and thrive on her zest for life. She is a great communicator; she is well versed in eye-contact and has a diverse vocabulary. She wants nothing more than to be a part of your familys day-to-day activities. Her favorite tasks include destroying newspapers, chasing laser lights up the wall, sharing her thoughts, engaging her humans in interactive play, and snuggling. She enjoys playing, eating yummy wet food, treats, and taking afternoon naps. She is also leash-trained, and although she still gets a bit nervous on occasion, she enjoys backyard strolls. She would love to live in a home with other kitties; she is very social and would do well with the extra stimulus! Penny would do best in a home with older children as she is young and energetic. If you are looking for an active and loving housemate, please come meet Penny! Adoption fee: $50.
