My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Happy go lucky and lovable are two words you hear often around the adorable Gonzo! He seems to always be smiling, wagging his tail and ready to go for a walk or a just some snuggling!

Gonzo has a goofy side and he looks like a Muppet so we named Gonzo. He seems to have a way of making you laugh with his cute antics. Whether he is laying on his stomach all sprawled out - furry feet in all different directions or laying on his back looking at you with those infectious eyes of his begging you for a belly rub. Of course you will give in because he is just that cute and sweet!

Here are just a few thing our volunteers have said about Gonzo:

"Gonzo bounded into the car and was the perfect passenger. We went to the park and enjoyed the shade. Gonzo LOVES to roll around in the grass and have his belly rubbed."

"I met Gonzo for the first time and just fell in love with this big "spaniel"! He just lumbers along, "tail" wagging along with half his backside, and really enjoyed his walk. Once he started rolling around in the grass, he was in heaven. Grass all over his face and body, with extended belly rubs, he couldn't be happier. He was very well behaved, had good leash manners, had a great disposition. Sure seems like a good, mellow companion, very lovable boy."
