My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption.

Hi, my name is Yuki.

I was found as a stray but am now living in a wonderful foster home with my foster mom, Erin.

I am a young fellow, close to three years old and I weigh around 50 pounds. See, I am a perfect size; not too big and not too small. I have already been neutered, given my basic shots, microchipped, and am heartworm negative.

This is what my foster mom has to say about me, "Yuki is a young dog with a lot of energy and playfulness. He gets along well with other dogs and is nonaggressive towards them. He is very sweet and affectionate without a mean bone in his body. He's a licker and if your face is in range- watch out!

Yuki has been trained to walk well on a leash. He also LOVES to go rollerblading with me! Yuki needs an owner who is willing to walk him daily and give him the guidance he needs. He is more than happy to be a pack follower, but needs someone to be his leader.

Yuki might need a home without a man since he is often afraid of them. He goes into avoidance mode and will cower in the corner to get away. Over the time that I have had him he has made a lot of improvement with this though. He is now able to walk up to a man when he is sitting and will even lick his face. I think with some more time and patience he will become just as comfortable with men as he is with women.

Yuki's favorite things include going to the dog park to play, eating all the goodies out of my bin, and being chased around the house."
