My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Beatrice - you can call me Bea! I'm a petite 2-3 year old black traditional horsecoat female Shar-Pei rescued from a Virginia shelter at about 50-55 days pregnant..

I'm a very feminine and sweet southern lady, with a small bone-mouth face and large brown eyes. Foster mom says that I am 100% adorable!

I may be less wrinkly than some Shar-Pei, but I have cave black pigment in my mouth and on my skin, so we know for sure that I'm a purebred. I am much more lively now that my pups are all gone. I prefer to play with humans and will moan and nudge to get your attention if you ignore me for too long. I‘ve also been giving little petite kisses lately, which is something new. I like to cuddle on the couch and prefer to be with humans as much as possible, especially when we wrestle! I also can settle nicely during the day while everyone is off at work or school. I do not need to be crated, day or night, and prefer a favorite spot on the couch for naps and bedtime.
Beatrice is being fostered in Virginia.
