My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut is Adopted

Peanut is currently fostered in Mentor Ohio, and his adoption donation is $300

Peanut is a 3yr old male, silver buff cocker spaniel.
He came into our rescue all the way from New Orleans as an owner surrender.
His family had to give him up due to severe allergies with their young child.

I cannot say enough good things about Peanut, he is wonderful in so many ways, he is a beautiful cocker boy to begin with, and he has so many great qualities in his temperment.
He does well with the other dogs in his foster home, he listens very well, is sweet and affectionate, LOVES his stuffed animal toys, and carrys them around like they are his babies.
He does not tear them up at all, he is so gentle with them.

Peanut is housetrained, crate trained, and does very well when left alone while his foster is at work.
He is a barker though, when people come to the home, and he takes a while to warm up to strangers, especially men.
Peanut is definitely a woman's dog, however he will be loving and affectionate with a man too once he has warmed up to them.
He is also very camera shy, and will hide when he sees the camera, so it is hard to get a good picture of him.

Peanut is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.

If you would like to adopt Peanut or would like more information on him, please fill out an adoption application.
