Firefly's Story...
Notes: Firefly - baby (8 weeks old as of June 15) - yellow Lab - male --

Firefly is one of "The June Bugs" - labrador retrievers - babies - 8 weeks old as of June 15th

This perfect litter of puppies hailed the month of June with vigor and joy. They are growing as heartily as the flowers and grass they rush outside to greet each morning.

There are 5 boys and one girl in the June Bug family, whose adventures consist of tumbling about, rolling and wrestling, and trundling into every available lap. Raised in foster care, they have known only love, and expect only good. Their mother, a diminutive and gentle yellow lab, reflects the same sunny outlook.

All the puppies are in beautiful health, and have stable and loving dispositions. They are alert, responsive, and flourishing in a nurturing foster home.

Beautiful Firefly is the color of a June moon, and brings to mind the strains of a summer love song. He is nimble, extremely loving, and for a little puppy, has a most generous and sweet outlook. He studies his caregiver's faces with great care before he lavishes them with kisses, and he will be a joy to nurture and train.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Firefly, a Rockville Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
