Darla's Story...
Darla—Approximately 9-month-old DMH calico spayed female. Darla was rescued from a feral litter born in a family’s garage. She is an adorable, affectionate kitten who enjoys cuddling with people as well as other cats. She also gets along great with her foster family’s small, high-energy dog! She had a habit of play-biting when she was younger, but seems to have grown out of it, although she may occasionally still nibble and need some reminding. We believe that she would do well with older children. Please contact us if you would like to meet this adorable, affectionate girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darla, a Elverta Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Elverta, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Elverta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elverta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elverta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elverta paves the way for another one to be saved.
