My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mason is a wonderfully sweet, three to four year old Beagle. He originally came to us from a high kill shelter, where he was on death row. Mason spent some time with us, and was adopted about eight months ago. His family loved him, and reported what a great pet he made. Unfortunately, his family experienced some financial and marital issues, and he was returned to us. Mason is a very shy boy, but with encouragement and positive reinforcement, he will continue to come out of his shell. Mason is a beta, and submissive to alphas. He is obedient and caring, and loves cuddling with people and other dogs. Mason gets along great with all canines, and can entice some cantankerous alphas to play.

What a perfect home would have: Mason would be great for any family, couple, or single person. He is a low to medium energy dog, and does not require a lot of exercise. Mason loves playing with other dogs, alphas or betas. If his new family has another playful dog, the extra weight he gained with his previous family would come off extremely quickly. With that said, he does not need a fenced in yard. All Mason really needs is a forever home, that will love and care for him as he once had.
