Lavender's Story...
Notes: Lavender - baby (9 weeks as of June 17) - Lab or Lab mix - female - black with white patch on chest - expected to be large when fully grown

Lavender has a bright white patch on her chest. Her eyes are a soft dark brown, and her gaze is open and direct. Like her brothers and her sister, she beautifully responsive; the slightest "cluck" from her caregivers sets her on a roly-poly gallop into one's lap. She plays and romps with her siblings with dispatch, and she cuddles ardently with humans. She has the very earnest, solemn expression that her mom, Minerva, sometimes has, and the same very loving nature.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lavender, a Rockville Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
