Lucky's Story...
Lucky is an 8 year old, white and brown beagle that comes from a loving family who can no longer meet his needs. He has been a wonderful pet but is not reacting well to being left for long hours on his own. He would do well with another dog as a companion or someone that can offer him a home where he is not left for long periods. He is good with other dogs, cats and kids of all ages. Lucky is a very affectionate little dog who loves to cuddle and go for long walks. He knows his basic obedience and is generally a quiet and gentle dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Hamilton Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
