Phillip's Story...
Hello all of you dog lovers....let me introduce myself. My name is Phillip and I am a slim 2 year old, 7.8 lb handsome Chihuahua. I would like to bulk up...but for now I think I am just fine for a little Chi looking for a forever home. After I find my new home, maybe I will hit the gym and build up some good little ole Chi muscle, heh, heh!!
I was brought to MaxFund from another shelter. I am a very secure little pup who knows that he wants to go to avery loving and gentle home. I have a great personality and can even tell you some jokes that I bet you haven't heard, heh, heh!! I am very easy going...if you want to cuddle, sounds good to me...if you want to go out for a walk, got my tennies on so lets go...wanna play, ok let's set up the volley ball net, heh, heh! Not much is known about me, except, of course I am sweet, very charming and...humble, heh, heh!! I can live in a condo, single dwelling home or even a mansion...just so its with you and lots of love. Since I am a little guy, it would be best to be in a home with older well mannered children after all, I could be stepped on by mistake...that is why I need to bulk up, heh, heh!! I would love to live with a single person or family as long as they know how to return my affection and love!!!

Ok, let's see...hmmmm....well I guess I could fit you in for a visit....right now!!! I look forward to meeting you and hopefully you will be my companion forever!! Just ask for the Chi looking for a gym membership, heh, the name of Phillip!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phillip, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
