Charlie's Story...
What a sweet little guy! Charlie is a one year old (born 6/13/05), buff and white parti-colored Cocker Spaniel. He has been vet checked, vaccinated, and neutered. Charlie tested negative for heartworm and is currently on heartworm preventative. He is good with people of all ages, including children. Charlie loves being with people so much that he has a tendency to follow his cherished humans from room to room as they move about the house, making him a great family pet with lots of love to give! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Owatonna Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
