found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Being a Toy Poodle Muffin is non shedding and may be ideal for allergy sufferers. This also means he needs regular grooming both at home and at a groomers. The best plan is to have him groomed about every 8 weeks and maintain a puppy cut to keep his coat free of painful matting and tangles.
Muffin used to be the apple of his owners eye until the family and family business began to grow. His owners no longer have time for him.
We had originally posted that Muffin should find a home with his buddy Lucky but we feel both are quiet needy for attention and may be better in separate homes. Muffin is the bossier of the two and often snaps at Lucky leaving Lucky always waiting for his turn be it for attention, snacks or toys. Ideally Muffin can find a home with another dog or where someone is home most of the time. Muffin is very social, he loves to meet new people and new animals, he is great with other dogs and children of all ages, he has not been around cats. Due to the fact that Muffin seems to require so much one on one attention from humans we feel he is better suited to a home with older kids (8yrs+) that can spend time brushing him, playing with him and walking him. He can be needy for attention and will sometimes yip for attention or jump up on your lap to be with you. The more exercise Muffin receives the more relaxed he is in and around the home. Even though he is a Toy Poodle he is active and loves to go for walks or play time at the dog park. Muffin also loves to cuddle, get lots of ear scratches and be brushed, in his world pretty much any attention is good attention. Muffin in the past has traveled with his owner to work and enjoys meeting new people and going for car rides. Muffin has not had any formal training and obedience classes with his new family wouldn’t be a bad idea as Poodles are smart and love to learn. He can be a little vocal (whimpers or yips) when wanting attention but Muffin is not yappy, he really only barks when someone is at the door. He is house trained and crate trained but is also fine given free roam of his home. Muffin is really best suited to a house with a fenced yard where he can run around and play ball with his family.
