My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ming has had quite the tragic life before RESCUE stepped in to save this little soul from the kill list. He was matted to the skin, was extremly overweight and the teeth that he had left in his mouth looked horrible. This once handsome boy was a mess. Animal Control had him listed as a female but once we shaved him down from head to toe we found out that Ming was not a she but a he. He had to have fourteen teeth pulled but he still has five left and eats his wet food just fine. He now feels a world better! His coat has grown back and he is slimming down with daily walks.

Ming is a pretty low key fellow. He enjoys his leisurely walks around the neighborhood and napping on the sofa. If the sofa is not readily available, he's been know to snooze on the bottom shelf of a cabinet! He rides very well in the car and despite his small stature he can get in and out of even an SUV! Ming needs a home where his adopters will be committed to daily walks for him to continue to get all his extra weight off his little body. A quite household with plenty of snuggle time would suit him just fine too. To find out more, please visit RESCUE's website at www.azrescue.org.

Ming weighed 16 pounds when we saved him from the kill list.
