My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This silly, goofy, funny, adorable, loving little guy is Ranger.

Ranger is such a sweet and wonderful little boy. He is just now about 9-10 months and will be a very small little guy as he's only about 40 pounds. Ranger is most likely a pit bull/assuie mix due to his coloring and his size. He has the most striking light blue eyes we've ever seen and has all the exuberance and excitement to make them really sparkle.

Poor sweet little Ranger finally made it out of the shelter on his last day after waiting such a long time for a home.

He wound up spending most of his puppyhood in a kennel so he really wants to make up for lost time. He would love to explore everything!!!
He's just mesmerized by all things and cannot get enough love and attention from all the kind people he's suddenly meeting.

Ranger has been temperament tested and he's doing great, he gets along wonderfully with other dogs, though he would do best with a friendly female and he could likely live with a tough kitty or two with supervision.

Ranger also really loves kids and would love to have some human brothers and sisters, but will need to learn some basic obedience and how not to jump on them.

Ranger is certainly just so happy to have made it out of the shelter, but sadly with lack of space and available foster homes poor Rookie is still stuck in boarding. He would absolutely thrive in a loving caring foster home till the right family can find him.

To foster or adopt from Colorado Pit Bull Rescue you will be required to complete an adoption application, provide references, submit to a home visit, and sign a contract. Our adoption fee is $125 and includes spay/neuter, all vaccinations, health check, and microchip.
