My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Scooby. That's right -- like Scooby Doo, but I'm a cat! We cats think we're far superior to dogs, so I'm not sure why I was named after a dog. I don't even really like dogs. But oh well... what can I say?

The folks here tried really hard to get a good photo of me, so you can see how handsome I am. I have beautiful stripes and am quite proud. But the flash bothered my eyes, so I closed them every time they took my photo. This photo at least has one eye open. Hopefully you can look past that and see that I am handsome.

I'm a fun boy. I enjoy petting and receiving love. I especially like to have my belly scratched. That's unusual for a cat you know. When I am done being pet, I will let you know. I will gently whack your hand just as a reminder that I am done. See, I'm a gentle and loving boy.

When my old owner brought me to the MaxFund, she said that I am good with kids. In fact, her kids used to carry me around, and I thought nothing of it. So if you have kids, I'll fit right in with your family. I also enjoy other cats. Wow -- what more could you ask for? My old owner thinks I like girls/women more than boys, but I'm fine with them too. Maybe it's because girls tend to kiss and hug more. Who knows? I like wet food more than dry food and prefer to go to a home where I'll eat wet food. After all, that is healthier for me. I was actually adopted, but was recently returned. I don't really know why, since I'm such a great guy, but I'm hoping that the next time will be my time!

So how about it? Don't I sound like I'd fit in great with your family? I think so! So please come visit me today and fall in love with me. I'm waiting for you.
