I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
We are a local adoption organization that has many lovely cats and kittens. Some are in desperate need of foster homes. They are currently living in unsuitable situations. If you cannot adopt a cat or are not ready to make that kind of commitment, please consider offering one of these needy cats a temporary home.

Care About the Strays (C.A.T.S) dba CatsforAdoption is a Rockland County, NY non-profit group devoted to helping homeless cats and kittens find loving homes.
After a cat or kitten is rescued, it is given a complete examination by a licensed veterinarian which includes:
rabies and distemper shots, feline aids and leukemia testing and neutering (when age appropriate).
Cats and kittens to be adopted are fostered in our homes by experienced volunteers and given lots of love and attention prior to adoption.

We care deeply about these pets and want to find them forever homes.
Our adoption process includes:
an in-person interview,
completion of pre-adoption forms,
agreement of pet owner responsibilities,
obtaining references, and signing of a contract.
We accept returns if the pet doesn't work out and
provide extensive helpline support.
