My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladd is an extremely handsome 2-3 year old male Border Collie rescued in late summer from a hoarding situation in southern Wyoming. Apparently he was used for breeding in eastern Nebraska, was kept outside 24/7, and received little to no socialization with people or other dogs. He is definitely a "work in progress" to build his confidence around new people/situations (and almost everything is 'new' for Ladd!), but really enjoys being with other dogs and is learning to take his cues from them when it comes to scary things. We think Ladd would flourish in a quiet home with another confident dog that could show him the ropes, and with an adopter with lots of patience and persistence to help Ladd learn that the world is a pretty great place to be! Even at his most terrified, Ladd shows absolutely no aggression, and loves getting pets and ear scritches from his trusted friends.

We'll post a more complete bio on Ladd as he continues to come out of his shell. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and living in a loving home near Casper, WY.
