Junior's Story...
Intake: November, 2010 (Returned May 10, 2011)

Junior is a happy go lucky boy who was adopted from PVHS, but then was returned for absolutely no fault of his own. Junior is a medium sized dog with a shorter coat, who would make a great house pet. Junior is very energetic and will require regular exercise to keep him occupied. Junior gets along well with other dogs.

*Update June 21: Junior has returned to us from some time in foster care and his foster family reports that he is an absolutely fantastic house dog! Junior got along well with the other dogs and cats in the home, and is completely housebroken as well! Junior does not jump on the furniture and happily sleeps in his kennel at night. Junior loves to go for walks and with a bit of leash training will be even better at it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junior, a Morden Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Morden, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Morden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morden paves the way for another one to be saved.
