Cecily's Story...
Do you want to meet a beautiful lady with a beautiful attitude? Are you hoping to take home a special friend that will melt your heart and make you realize there is more love in the world then you ever thought possible? Well then you should come and meet me. I am Miss Cecily! My so called previous owners cared so little for me that they left me out in the brutal cold until my leg literally froze to the porch. I guess I don’t have any regrets though, what’s done is done. There is so much love in my heart I know I will get what I truly deserve which is a compassionate and dedicated person ready to treat me right and pamper me for the rest of my life. I will not require any “special” treatment and I don’t think of myself as handicapped but I am going to be a bit slower then most dogs my age with just my three legs. I play well with other dogs, I do good with cats and I adore children. I am crate trained and I know a couple basic commands too. If you are serious about the possibility of adopting me then you should come and meet me. Don’t make me wait too long ok? 2 years old-40lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; current shots, spay, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cecily, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
