Dax's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dax's Story...
Dax is a dear dog with the softest brown eyes. She came to the shelter because her former owners moved out of the country. No doubt this nice girl is confused by her new surroundings. As a beloved housepet since puppyhood, Dax is housebroken and very well socialized. She gets along well with cats, kids and other dogs. Dax loves to go for lots of walks but she will be equally happy lounging by your feet and hoping for a belly rub. She is chubby from too many table scraps and too little exercise, but she's slimming down now and doesn't let her weight affect her energy level or affectionate spirit. Dax will be a great addition to any family home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dax, a Berkeley German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
