BIG JAKE's Story...
Meet BIG JAKE! He is a beautiful, purebred, Yellow Labrador Retriever.
JAKE is 2 1/2 years old. He loves the kids, and gets along well with other dogs, in his foster home.
JAKE came to our rescue, feeling insecure. He soon relaxed.
What JAKE needs is an adopter who shows confidence with him. This helps JAKE to continue to feel confident.
JAKE is a big boy, with very good manners. He will sit, on command, and "speak", for a treat! He loves his toys and enjoys a good game of chase.

This handsome, huggable boy is waiting for his own "furever" home. He is neutered, HW negative and up to date on all his vaccines.

JAKE is being fostered in Brooksville, FL.
There is a $250.00 adoption donation, for JAKE.
This helps to reimburse us for food and our veterinary expenses- vaccines, worming, mandatory spay/neuter, micro-chip, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BIG JAKE, a Brooksville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
