Meet sweet little Dolly! She and her sister (Molly) were brought to the animal control facility at an awfully early age-around 5 weeks old. This is a very harsh environment for any dog, much less a puppy that is barely weaned. Dolly is now about 9-10 weeks old and is gaining strength each day and putting on weight. She is still small - around 10lbs. and is an absolute doll! She needs to go to a home that understands that she is a baby and will need patience and training to become a proper young lady.
She promises to be a fun, loving, and wonderful friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Glenburn Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Glenburn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Glenburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glenburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glenburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glenburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
