My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gerald! He is a handsome yellow labbie boy, around 2 years old. Gerald is super sweet and gets along with everyone. He is definitely happy to be out of jail (animal control). Stay posted for more info on this awesome boy.

Unfortunately, Gerald is heartworm positive. He is currently undergoing treatment and will need a quite foster home to recover in.

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM: Gerald is the best dog in the world. Potty trained. Affectionate. Playful with his foster sister when she pesters him, but VERY chill now that he's out of jail. He just follows me everywhere and just stares at me with his big labby eyes. He sleeps on a dog bed at the foot of our bed. He is amazing. Too bad he wants to chase the cat, so NO CATS for Gerald.

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM 10/29: Gerald is a very sweet and loving boy who never wants to leave your side. He is such a "velcro dog!" He gets along well with other dogs, but does not do well with cats. He loves to carry around a tennis ball but is a little too goofy to figure out "fetch" at this point. He is recovering well from his heartworm treatment and will hopefully continue to gain a little weight. Gerald is crate trained and doesn't chew- he is a very good boy and would make a great addition to any loving home.
