ZELDA - ID# A006320
ZELDA is a spayed female, housetrained White and Brown American Bulldog and Boxer mix. The shelter thinks Zelda was about 4 years old when she arrived on June 28, 2006. Zelda's owner could no longer keep her, so we were asked to find her a new forever home...can it be yours? Zelda is friendly, a little shy and timid but very sweet. Seems a little reserved when you first meet her, but very friendly when she knows you. Zelda is mostly trained, but would really thrive if her new owners will keep up her training. Read below for the training assistance we offer with all shelter dogs. No children under 6 years in household please.
We always adopt to the best home, not necessarily the first application. NOTE: Renters, you will need landlord approval before the pet is released to you for adoption.
Dog adoptions are $100 and include microchip, spay or neuter, current shots, flea treatment if required, "New Owner" folder packed full of helpful information, and 1-free (from our list) veterinary basic health examination within 5 days of adoption.
Our adopted dogs come with a SPECIAL BONUS of up to $80.00 toward training expenses within 6 months of adoption. We hope to provide a smooth and lasting transition into your household. Ask for complete details at the time you adopt your new companion dog.

Applications are only accepted by FAX (949-366-4765), mail or in person. Sorry, no applications through the Internet.
Please call the shelter at 949-492-1617 to check if your desired pet is still available or the status of your application. We are CLOSED on Tuesdays and OPEN LATE on Wednesdays until 7:00 PM. All other days we are open until 4:00 PM except Sundays when we close at 3:00 PM. We are very proud of our shelter, it is clean, welcoming, freeway close, and voted "Best Place to Adopt" by the Orange Coast Magazine!
